Supposedly pictures don’t do this car much justice - you’ve got to see one in person to really appreciate this supercar.   enzo

The Enzo (named after the founder of Ferrari) was styled by Italian designer Pininfarina and comes in either red or yellow. It has a downward sloping nose with a rear spoiler that only pops up at speeds over 140mph. I’ve always wondered what a state trooper thinks when one cruises doing the normal speed limit with that rear spoiler up?

In terms of performance, the Enzo is as close to Formula One as any car gets. Its got a V-12 engine that sits in the middle of the car and pumps out 650 horsepower and does o-60 in 3.1 secs! Steering-wheel paddles are used to shift the six-speed sequential manual transmission. Only 400 of these were ever built. We’re not sure what number this one is as the eBay listing is a bit scant on details. We’re also not sure why the transmission is listed as automatic. Hmmmmmm….

 Base price circa 2002/2003: $675,000.

Base price now: At least $1.35M, given you can find one. The reserve has already been met on this listing and there’s still 8 days to go! We’ll keep a close eye on this one.          See more pics at the original listing here.

If you do get one though - make sure to drive it like this.
