The Rolls Royce phantom coupe was unveiled today and the car itself really doesn't need much introduction. This is the last model to complete the Phantom line. A few interesting features on The Phantom Coupe are:
Hundreds of twinkling fibre-optic lights around the headlining
250mm (wheelbase) shorter than the Phantom
Stiffer Chassis - the coupe's ride is less sportier than other models in the Phantom line
For Ferrari's 60th birthday, the automaker decided to roll out 60 limited edition models of the 612 Scaglietti. The Scaglietti, which is also the only 2+2 "four seater" Ferrari (I wouldn't really try and fit anything larger than a toddler in the back seat - but why any toddlers would be in a 6-speed F1-S gearbox equipped 540-hp V-12 Ferrari beats me) gets XM Radio and XM Nav Traffic, another first. The Scaglietti also boasts a special electrochromatic panoramic glass roof that darkens and lightens at the touch of a button.
Lindsay Lohan's former black 2005 Mercedez Benz is up for sale on eBay. You'll need at least $116,100 - for the infamous car in which Lindsay got a DUI back on May 26th, 2007. An "anonymous seller" purchased the car and had it repaired at an auto shop in Houston Texas.
Get in on the action at eBay by clicking here. Note the car is pure stock, bling free and 6207 miles. You never know, you might just find a secret compartment containing _________ (I'll let you fill in the blanks)
A little birdie informed us that Curtis Jackson, aka 50 Cent's chrome covered, customized 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago is up for sale on eBay. Oddly enough, there's no mention of 50 in the auction details - but here he is getting arrested in the car by the police late last year.
Now that you know where to get one, make like this fellow and drive it like this guy did in this internet classic video way back in 1976. Nice twist at the end -it all suddenly makes sense, doesn't it?
Supposedly pictures don't do this car much justice - you've got to see one in person to really appreciate this supercar.
The Enzo (named after the founder of Ferrari) was styled by Italian designer Pininfarina and comes in either red or yellow. It has a downward sloping nose with a rear spoiler that only pops up at speeds over 140mph. I've always wondered what a state trooper thinks when one cruises doing the normal speed limit with that rear spoiler up? (more...)
